Accessibility

We are committed to making Troublemakers At Work as accessible as we can.

The venue is generally very accessible. In addition, we:

  • Will have Covid air filters in the four meeting rooms
  • Financial support for attendees who need it (e.g. low waged people travelling a long way)
  • Have block-booked accommodation on the Friday and Saturday nights to assist people who can’t travel on the day, particularly as there will be a rail strike

We planned to provide free, professional childcare, but received no bookings for this, so it has been cancelled. If you need financial support to make your own childcare arrangements to enable you to play a full part in the conference, please let the team know what you need. This could include things like paying for booking kids into a holiday club so a parent can join online, paying for a babysitter, or giving money to enable a family member to take kids on an outing while a parent is at the conference.

We planned to provide British Sign Language interpretation in at least one room, but received no bookings from people who needed this, so it has been cancelled. For those joining via Zoom, captions will be turned on.

If you have any other accessibility needs, please get in touch.
